00:00:04: Hi there, my name is Matthew O'Connor-Lomas.
00:00:07: I'm a father of two and this is Differently – A podcast series about parents around the world who were sharing parental responsibilities equally.
00:00:20: My wife and i became parents in Germany but year ago we relocated to UK.
00:00:27: This means that with experienced first hand some differences in ways different societies and governments approach gender equality & parenting.
00:00:39: In Germany I had a podcast where i spoke to dads who did lots of unpaid care work.
00:00:45: It was my wife's idea and it was a lot fun!
00:00:48: As it turns out, this new podcast series is her idea too.
00:00:53: She reckoned that would be interesting hear about parents in other countries trying make equal parenting works for them whilst facing different challenges.
